I started my fitness journey with Somesh in January with the goal of
losing weight and getting into a sustainable healthy lifestyle. While
we are flooded with all types of fitness info on social media, I
wanted guidance from a trustworthy source who would understand my
lifestyle, current fitness level, eating preferences, and goals. This
is exactly what I received from Somesh. He came up with a tailor-made
plan to meet my goals. He regularly followed up with me on the
progress and challenges faced during this journey. The results have
honestly exceeded my expectations!
I have lost weight from 83kgs to 77kgs in the last 12 weeks! While
this is a good measure of the success of this journey, I would also
like to point out other benefits in terms of behavioral changes I have
gained from this program.
1. I have developed a curiosity to check the calorie, protein, carb,
and fat composition of the items I eat. I have started reading labels!
A lot of times, I have let go of items because the instant
gratification was not with the calories :)
2. I have learnt to be mindful and pay attention to details about what
I consume in my day-to-day life. I realized even though I don't eat
deep-fried items, I was consuming a lot of oil indirectly ex:
seasoning.
3. Earlier, I tended to overeat stuffs I thought were healthy, ex:
fruits, peanuts (because they are rich in protein). Now I have learnt
that even good items should be consumed in moderation.
4. Last but not least, I have been applying my learnings to my family.
Especially my parents are eating healthier food now and have started
seeing benefits. A big thanks for that! :)
A big thanks to Somesh for guiding me throughout this journey! It was
kind of him to offer me an additional 2 weeks of the training when I
took this 12-week package. Due to family medical situations, I need to
take a break for 2 weeks. Somesh has been supportive and given me a
pause of 2 weeks. After finishing this training, I would be more than
happy to extend it. In the next phase, along with losing some more
weight, I want to get more muscular and have a shot at a 6-pack too!
