Epigamia Protein Shake Review: Are You Getting the Protein You Paid For?

Protein shakes are a staple in the diet of many fitness enthusiasts. Epigamia's Protein Shake, with its alluring cookie and cream flavor, promises a substantial boost of protein. But does it live up to its promises? Our lab test provides the answers.

Overview of Epigamia Protein Shake:

The Epigamia Protein Shake is touted as a high-protein supplement that supports muscle recovery and growth. With its rich cookies and cream flavor, it's not only a treat for your taste buds but also a purported boon for your health. Marketed to provide 25 grams of protein per 250ml serving, it aims to fulfill a significant part of your daily protein requirement.

Methodology of Lab Testing:

We conducted a chemical analysis to measure the protein content of the Epigamia Protein Shake. Utilizing the IS 7219 method, modified by FOSS Kjeltec 1973, our aim was to verify the accuracy of the protein content listed on the product's label.

Test Results:

The lab results show that the Epigamia Protein Shake contains 8.97 grams of protein per 100 grams. Given that each bottle is 250ml, this translates to approximately 22.43 grams of protein per serving, which is slightly less than the 25 grams advertised.

Analysis:

The discrepancy between the labeled and measured protein content raises questions about the nutritional accuracy of this product. While the difference might not be significant for casual users, it could be more relevant for athletes and others who count every gram of nutrient intake.

Health Implications:

For those relying on accurate nutritional content for dietary management, this variance in protein content is crucial information. It's important to understand that while the shake provides a good amount of protein, it may not be as high as advertised.
