Share
Introduction:
Epigamia Natural Yogurt is often chosen for its clean ingredients and health benefits. Promising high protein content with minimal additives, it's a favorite among health-conscious consumers. But does it really deliver the nutritional value it claims? We put it to the test in our lab.
Overview of Epigamia Natural Yogurt:
Epigamia Natural Yogurt is marketed as a high-protein, low-fat dairy product that offers a versatile option for various culinary uses, from smoothies to marinades. It's made without added flavors, focusing on the natural taste and benefits of yogurt.
Methodology of Lab Testing:
Our testing focused on verifying the protein content as well as other nutritional aspects of Epigamia Natural Yogurt. Using the IS 7219 method modified by FOSS Kjeltec 1973, we aimed to provide an accurate assessment.
Test Results:
- Protein Content: The lab test shows a protein content of 8.54 grams per 100 grams. This is a bit higher than the 7 grams per 100 grams stated on the nutritional label, providing even more protein than expected.
- Other Nutritional Information: According to the label, the yogurt provides 65 kcal, 2 grams of fat, and 5 grams of carbohydrates per 100 grams, alongside beneficial live cultures.
Analysis:
The higher protein content measured in our tests reinforces the yogurt's position as a healthy, protein-rich food choice. This additional protein can aid in muscle repair and overall health, making it an excellent option for those looking to increase their protein intake through natural foods.
Health Implications:
Epigamia Natural Yogurt’s nutritional profile makes it suitable for various dietary needs. Its high protein and low fat content support muscle maintenance and weight management, while the live cultures promote gut health.
